Eye on the Prize

Shima 0 comments 09.12.2025

There are no shortcuts to any place worth going. If it’s important to you, you’ll find a way. If not, you’ll find an excuse.

Talk is cheap—go big or go home, and never be afraid to walk the road less traveled.

This is your journey and your happiness.
Take back your power by looking back every now and then to see how far you’ve come.

No one will recognize your growth more than you.
Don’t compare, judge, or try to make sense of other people’s journeys. Your only responsibility is to do what’s right for you and to make intentional choices day in and day out to create the life you want. Own your story.

Make it a great day, or not. The choice is yours. And don’t forget to keep your eyes on the prize.

Kindness goes a long way

Real estate is an interesting industry.

Other agents, your colleagues, are also your competition. Despite that, you build relationships with them, and sometimes, if you’re really lucky, they’re willing to help you.

A few weeks ago, I helped a colleague with social media. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but apparently, it meant a lot to her…and today, she left me this sweet surprise.

You never know what someone might be going through. This is just another reminder that it costs nothing to be kind and to offer your support.

“When you get where you’re going, don’t forget to turn around and help the next one in line.”

Feeling especially grateful to have closed escrow today!

A huge, huge thank you to Daran for kindly trusting and referring my client to me. It was an honor to represent her in the sale of her home and help her close this chapter.

I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant, patient and understanding seller who trusted me every step of the way!

Real Estate is quite unpredictable. Just 2 days after we hit the market, the unit directly next door to us was listed for almost $50,000 below- making it a tough competition to beat.

However, we stated persistent with open houses, showings and digital marketing. All you need is ONE buyer- and we found him!

Thank you to Melinda Andersen of Chicago Title for doing a special recording today and helping us close on time. Also, thank you Daran for being a wonderful Escrow Officer and helping us every step of the way.

Kids come in all shapes and sizes and not all are in human form.
No matter how big or small, they have a huge impact during the sell of a home.
Keeping the house clean is one of the most challenging task, but it’s essential when trying to capture the right buyer!
A special thank you to Savannah, Toby, Sky, and Coco for dealing with strangers coming in and out of your home until we found Mom and Dad the perfect buyer!!

I know you probably hated me dusting the couch and having to vacate the home during open houses/showings. Although it was a long and bumpy ride, WE did it!

You will be repaid soon with yummy treats. Also, a huge thank you to Matthew and Colleen for not only thinking of me when choosing an agent to represent you, but trusting me with the sale of your home and being patient throughout it all.

Special thank you to our Title Rep, Melinda Andersen with Chicago Title Los Angeles for making it happen and Harbor Lights Escrow for all your help. Also, thank you Holly Kauff for your dedication and professionalism. Cheers!

Exposed Brick is an interior design element that is often found in urban living. An urban modern has touches of brick walls, rugged wood, concrete floors, and enormous steel windows which create a sense of a laid-back and cool vibe. In addition, you will often find an open floor plan and lots of natural light which give the space an open, airy feel.

A 2018 popular home trend: incorporating ?????????? ????????.

This modern & vintage appeal includes edgy and unique pieces for lighting & even faucets.

You can attain this look through a water pipe, Edison bulb lighting, caged birdhouses, and dome pendant lamps.

With the rise of farmhouse design, Dutch doors are popping up more and more in both modern and country decor settings. Dating back to the 17th century, Dutch doors are certainly not new but homeowners that value casual style are embracing this trend all over again.
