Selling Tips
When selling your home, don’t forget to “stage” items behind doors, cabinets, closets, drawers, etc. Ironically, sellers will pay THOUSANDS of dollars to borrow furniture to make their homes appear more spacious and beautiful, yet leave other areas forgotten.
Remember, staging is used to capture a buyer’s interest, yet the practicality of living there is what keeps or doesn’t keep them intrigued. Buyers LOVE storage.
For example, an unorganized kitchen cabinet may imply there is a lack of space for their own pots, pans, etc. Our goal is to help them be able to imagine themselves living there, by “tricking” them into believing... there’s more than enough space!
This is easy to do by organizing and creating systems in areas with simple tools you probably already own, such as an empty shoebox. We only get one chance at a first impression of your home, and every nook and cranny matters... even those “hidden” behind doors. And trust me, buyers look.
